Entry Garden Walk - Piet Oudolf Garden Revitalization Project - Goal $7,500
Last year, thanks to donations received through the Gifts to the Garden campaign, the initial work began in the Oudolf garden. Consultations were done, and plans were made. Some initial plantings were also completed. As we continue to work on this showcase garden, your continued support is greatly appreciated!
We are very excited to see this amazing garden returned to it's original splendor!
The Entry Garden Walk was designed by Dutch garden designer and plantsman, Piet Oudolf. His first Canadian project, this garden is inspired by his New Wave Planting style using bold drifts of perennials and grasses, punctuated with shrubs and trees. These plants are carefully selected for their architectural form and texture, as well as autumn colour and winter silhouette, thus taking precedence over flower colour.
Over the years, the garden has grown away from it's original concept and design. TBG is working to revitalize and restore the Piet Oudolf Garden using materials that are within the original plan.
The revitalization will involve planting of native plants, trees, shrubs and perennials.
Thank you for your support!
Please note: this is a donation for the revitalization of an existing garden. No physical product is being sent to the donor. All donors will receive a tax receipt for the full value of their donation. Donors will be acknowledged on plaques in the Oudolf Garden.
