Anthurium scandens var. Pumila

Anthurium scandens pumila

First time on our shelves, and no, this is not a pretty-leaf anthurium. This is an ugly/weird one!

This climbing epiphyte features lance-shaped leaves and green, spathe-like blooms. If given enough heat and humidity, these flowers transform into dangling clusters of pearly white fruit, blushed with lavender. Think of a miniature bunch of grapes, just not edible.

Native to Central America.

Bright, filtered light.

Water when 70 to 80 per cent dry.

Likes humidity.

Grown indoors during winter.

Height and Spread: 3' to 4’
